Tallinn, Estonia

From 8 to 16 June 2015, the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., participated as a partner organisation in the youth education project BOLD – Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development, organised by the NGO Tallin University Student Union in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

The project was carried out with the participation of Tjaša Teržan, the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., Co-worker and also Co-workers Sebastijan Vačun and Patrick Kolenc.

In addition to the quality work of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., its unique project of the first Romani restaurant in the EU, Romani kafenava, attracted a lot of interest. Aman Kumar, a lecturer at Stanford University, multiple PhD in Computer Science with an MBA from Harvard, who has held product management positions at Google, Apple, etc., among others, and is currently acting as a special advisor to the Estonian government in the pioneering field of e-Residency, and as an advisor to the Government CIO, Enterprise Estonia, was also visibly impressed by the project. He was particularly impressed by the sensitivity of the Romani kafenava project and its in-depth insight into the employment issues of Roma, which offers a long-term solution for this minority.
