The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., invites you to the lecture held by Bajsa Arifovska. The lecture will be titled Women in Romani Music. Following the lecture will be presentation of traditional instruments, dialogue, press conference and hanging out with Bajsa Arifovska and Damir Mazrek. The event will start at 8 p.m. on 17th August 2018 in Roma Station, Preradovičeva street 1.

Multi-instrumentalist Bajsa Arifovska, first lady of the Balkan instrumental music, will come to hang out and hold a dialogue about position of female musicians in Roma society and generally in music world. There will be an open dialogue and they will simultaneously hold a presentation of the classical music instruments from the Balkan area. They will also play some of the traditional songs. Bajsa is currently an art leader of a National Macedonian Orchestra Tanec, before that she was a professor of the traditional instruments at the University of Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
