The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., invities you to the Diknu Schneeberger Trio concert, which will take place on the International Day of Roma Women in Štihova Hall in Cankarjev dom.

Diknu Schneeberger is an Austrian jazz guitarist, member of Sinti community, playing melodies in the Gypsy Jazz genre.

In the year 2004 Diknu Schneeberger had first public performance, already in October 2004 he recorded his first CD with Joschi Schneeberger quintet. He was first taught by Striglo Stöger, later by Martin Spitzer, a guitar player in the Diknu Schneeberger Trio; the bass is played by his father, Joschi Schneeberger.

As a part of the International Day of Roma Women 2019, Diknu Schneeberger and his accompanying ensemble will play both his own compositions and the melodies by Django Reinhardt, great late Belgian musician of Roma origin.
