23 – 29 March, 2015
Braga, Portugal

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is a partner organisation in the youth training to be held in Braga – European Youth Capital 2012.

Some other European Capitals of Youth such as Turin, Cluj-Napocca, Thessaloniki and Varna are also involved in the project.

The project is under the Erasmus+ key action1 programme and aims to promote youth participation in youth policy and the involvement of young people in entrepreneurial ecosystems in decision-making at local level. The project aims at influencing a civic perspective on entrepreneurship and attitudes towards entrepreneurship through non-formal education methodologies.

The main objective of this training is to establish a structured dialogue mechanism in the local community and the wider region, which is the driving force of any democratic system.

Participants will prepare a briefing for the Euro-Atlantic Centre for Youth, taking into account the themes of youth policy, employability, entrepreneurship and youth information and promotion. In this way, it is expected to increase the level of knowledge of the participants on youth policy and its relation to the business sector.

The Youth Exchange promotes the European YOUTHPASS certificate.

The costs of accommodation, meals and the programme are covered by the organiser of the activity. The proportion of travel costs reimbursed per participant from Slovenia is fixed for a distance of 500 km to 1999 km.

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is supported by the Municipality of Maribor, the Youth Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the EU Erasmus+ Programme and the EU Culture Programme.
