20 – 27 August, 2016
Maribor, Slovenia

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is the organiser of the KA1 Erasmus+ Youth Mobility Project “No return – the way forward?”. The project will take place from 20 to 27 August 2016 in Maribor, Slovenia.

Migration flows in today’s Europe bring different challenges that the younger generation will face in both the private and business worlds. Through non-formal education, this project aims to provide young people with the knowledge and skills to be able to identify and respond to potentially critical situations.

The training course “No turning back – how to move forward?” will bring together 24 young people from 8 different countries to spend 7 days together.

Participants will first learn about the economic and global causes and consequences of migration, and will also acquire socio-psychological knowledge to help them shape their thinking and engage in new intercultural contacts with people from different ethnic groups.

In lectures, workshops and fieldwork, participants will gain knowledge from experienced facilitators. Through non-formal education methods, they will gain skills to embrace difference in their personal and business lives. As a result, they will move towards a more open and accepting society, which is a necessity in today’s Europe full of migration.
