Radio Slovenia and Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., are organising a concert of a Spanish flamenco group in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show Amare Droma/Naše poti.

Lela Soto is one of the young Romani voices with more projection of the current flamenco scene. She was born in 1992 in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) and is the youngest heiress of the legacy of Los Sordera, one of the most important Flamenco families. Her father, Vicente Soto “Sordera”, Flamenco legend, and her mother, Luisa Heredia, dancer, have transmitted to her the essence and love for Flamenco. From her childhood she begins to sing in family fiestas and events, where she showed her beautiful voice and natural tuning. In addition to her orthodox Flamenco roots, Lela Soto impregnates her music with a more avant-garde Flamenco, and it’s possible to appreciate in her voice other influences such as Jazz, Blues, Salsa or R&B, through artists such as Whitney Houston or Beyoncé. Lela Soto has been invited by some of the most important Spanish artists to collaborate in their recordings or tours, for example: Alejandro Sanz (recording and tour of “No es lo mismo”), Pitingo (tour of “Soulería”), Niña Pastori (recording and tour of “Ámame como soy”), Navajita Plateá, Los Cherokee, Diego del Morao, or several shows and recordings from her father, Vicente Soto “Sordera”, and La Casa de Los Sordera. Lela Soto has recorded several songs that have been successfully broadcasted through digital platforms, and has put music to the “Ron Dos Maderas” brand of Williams & Humbert wines.

In concert, she has performed at different stages in Spain and abroad. On February, 2016, she performed a tour along with Vicente Soto “Sordera” promoted by the Almería Regional Council. In the summer of 2016 she performed at “Flamenco Fridays” in Jerez and at the Flamenco Biennial in Seville, two of the most important Flamenco festivals in the world. On November, 2016, she premiered in Madrid, at the García Lorca Theatre. On February, 2017, she toured for the first time in California (USA), in a series of concerts promoted by the Flamenco Society of the United States in different venues. Lela Soto has participated in several radio and television shows, such as the 3 songs she recorded, accompanied by guitar and percussion, at the Flamenco Forum of Andalusia TV, where she performed Malagueñas, Bamberas and Tientos Tangos. On 2017, she won the First Prize in the prestigious Flamenco Talent Contest 2017 organized by the Foundation Cristina Heeren and the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco.
