Uncensored presentation of the volunteering experience in Romania, Jaša Prajnc

On Tuesday, 20 January 2015 at 19.00 we invite you to our premises at Koroški cesta 8 in Maribor for a presentation of the international experience of European Voluntary Service through the eyes of our member and volunteer Jaša Prajnec, who spent two months volunteering in the city of Cluj-Napocca, which is the European Youth Capital 2015.

Jaša Prajnc, a student at the Faculty of Education in Maribor, known mostly in his hometown of Ruše for breastfeeding until he was 15, made the unusual decision in the midst of a boring everyday life to venture into the unknown to volunteer in far-off Romania with the help of the youth and cultural organisation the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise.

Everyone who knows him was surprised. What is volunteering, European Voluntary Service, EPEKA NGO, non-formal education, mentor, coordinator, host organisation, Erasmus+, …? Before they had even got the answers, Jaša had already flown to Romania, which his father said, with a smile on his face, was the European hotbed of quality prostitution.
But don’t worry, you haven’t missed anything. Jaša Prajnc will share all his uncensored experiences with you.
