Farewell from Turkish EVS volunteers

The Erasmus+ project “You’re Next” is coming to an end and Turkish EVS volunteers Şeyda Yalçın and Fatih Akliman, who worked for a year at the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., are slowly saying goodbye.

We cordially invite all friends and sympathisers of the Epeke Association and the two volunteers to join us on Monday, 25 January 2016, from 14:00 to 16:00, at the first Roma restaurant in the EU, Romani kafenava (Gorkega 34, Maribor) for a farewell meeting and social gathering.

We will be joined by the guest of honour, Nje. Exc. Serra Kaleli, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Slovenia.

“Herkese Merhaba,
Avrupa Komisyonu tarafından finanse edilen Erasmus+ Programına bağlı Avrupa Gönüllü Hizmeti kapsamında, Şubat 2015ten itibaren Maribor’da uluslararası bir dernek olan EPeKa’da çalışıyoruz. Biz de Slovenya’da Türkiye’yi temsil eden bir bireyler olarak, çalıştığımız dernek ile birlikte Türk-Sloven ilişkilerini geliştirmek adına bir etkinlik planlamaktayız.

Bu hususta onur konuğumuz, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Ljubljana Büyükelçisi Serra Kalelinin katılımı ile hem derneğimiz, hem de biz ve bizim gibi diğer Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşları için düzenleyeceğimiz etkinliğimize sizleri davet etmek isteriz.

EPeKa bünyesinde bir sanat galerisi ve Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklenen bir sosyal girişimcilik projesi olan bir Roman Restoranı bulunmaktadır. EPeKa Slovenya aynı zamanda Türkiye’de de faaliyet gösteren EPeKa Türkiye’yi 4 sene evvel kurarak, Türk-Sloven ilişkilerine duyduğu ilgiyi ve hassasiyeti göstermiştir.

Etkinliği bahsi geçen Roma Restoranında Slovenya’da yaşayan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşlarının katılımı ile düzenleyeceğiz. Etkinliğimiz 25 Ocak 2016, saat 14.00-16.00 gerçekleşecektir. Bu aynı zamanda bizim yapmış olduğumuz projenin de bitimi ve bir veda toplantısı niteliği taşıyacaktır.

Hello Everybody,
Within the scope of the European Voluntary Service, funded by the European Commission and related to the Erasmus Programme, we have been working since February, 2015 for the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., an international association in Maribor. As individuals representing Turkey in Slovenia, We are planning an activity to improve the relations between Turkey and Slovenia.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to our event that we are going to organize with the participation of our guest of honour, Serra Kaleli, Ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Slovenia.

Within the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., there is an art gallery and a Romani restaurant, a social and entrepreneurial project supported by the European Union. The Association Epeka, Soc. Ent., in Slovenia showed its interest and sensitivity for Turkish-Slovenian relations by establishing “Epeka Turkey” 4 years ago.

We are going to organize the event in the aforementioned Romani restaurant with the participation of Turkish citizens living in Slovenia. Our event is going to be organized on January 25th 2016, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is also going to be the end of our project and a farewell meeting.
