31 Jan – 7 Feb, 2015
Cankiri, Turkey

The ”Jobs of The Future” youth exchange will take place in Cankiri, Turkey, from 31 January to 7 February 2015. The project addresses the themes of unemployment, youth unemployment and in particular jobs that will be popular or in high demand in the future.

Together with an international cast of youth workers and young people, it will create a context for comparisons between countries, institutions and organisations working in these fields. Ideas for possible solutions and potential good practices to tackle youth unemployment will be presented and debated. Ways to map and activate these ideas in the countries of the participants will be explored.
The working methods of the youth exchange are in the field of non-formal education, namely various workshops, presentations, simulations, role-plays, excursions, etc.
The desired target group is young people aged 15 to 25 who are thinking about employment and careers.
The working language of the youth exchange is English, but less proficiency in the language is not a barrier to participation.

The costs of accommodation, meals and the programme are covered by the activity organiser. The proportion of travel costs reimbursed per participant from Slovenia is fixed for a distance of 500 km to 1999 km.

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is supported by the Municipality of Maribor, the Youth Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the EU Erasmus+ Programme and the EU Culture Programme.
