President of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., Štefan Simončič, attended a Human Rights Webinar for the Romani People.
Background and Purpose
As one of the oldest minority groups, approximately 10 million to 12 million Romani people mostly reside in Europe. However, to this day they suffer from social discrimination and prejudice, often based on lack of knowledge.
For this reason, we are inviting organizations from all over Europe to join us in advocating for equality and tolerance towards the Romani people. Thereby we will hold a discussion about the support measures of the respective governments, the improvement opportunities and the contributions, that the Romani people can make themselves.
