Ent., is looking for participants to take part in the training course on the topic of <strong>intersectionality in pop culture <\/strong>in Alicante, Spain.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the last 3 years we focused on researching, adapting and testing elements of Pop Culture as a source of learning within NFE and global education, while continuing to work on the concept of invisible racism: with this project we would like to share this process with youth workers, focusing on the concept of intersectionality (K.W. Crenshaw, 1989) and its value within youth participation activities. We will explore the connections between oppressions and people&#8217;s experiences based on their identities (according to gender, sex, sexuality, race, class, ability, nationality, citizenship, religion, body type &#8230; ) and what this means during the lives of each person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With this training we want to achieve the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>define the concept of intersectionality and the different ways of working on it through the methodology of non-formal education;<\/li>\n<li>to give visibility to the connections between different social struggles and their consequences in our societies;<\/li>\n<li>to give an overview of POP culture and to analyze the potential of the elements that compose it as versatile and effective educational tools;<\/li>\n<li>to introduce intersectional perspectives in youth work, training professionals to work on the theme at a cross-cutting level in their activities;<\/li>\n<li>generate approaches and methodologies accessible to young people, focusing on learning and action processes on the theme of intersectionality using popular culture;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To apply write to <a href=\"mailto:matej@epeka.si\">matej@epeka.si<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More information in the <a href=\"https:\/\/epeka.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/TC-Connect-the-Dots-infopack.pdf\">TC Connect the Dots infopack<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Association EPEKA, Soc.
