{"id":23907,"date":"2022-04-22T09:50:30","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T09:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/?p=23907"},"modified":"2024-11-12T20:50:13","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T20:50:13","slug":"art-4-inclusion-international-activity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/art-4-inclusion-international-activity\/","title":{"rendered":"ART 4 INCLUSION &#8211; International Activity"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">19 &#8211; 22 April 2022<br \/>\nMaribor<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Epeka hosted an international educational activity in the framework of the Art 4 Inclusion project in Maribor from 19 to 22 April.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this project we are developing learning tools and an online training platform for youth workers to use the arts to promote the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, especially migrants and ethnic minorities. In this activity, we reviewed and tested the tools we have developed and analysed the responses we received from our focus group work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ART 4 INCLUSION (A4I) project was conceived in a challenging situation for the European Union: the pandemic caused by COVID-19. All sectors are affected and the pandemic is having a major impact on social activities in general and on artistic and cultural activities in particular. In addition, the challenges of integration and employability of young migrants and minorities, which the EU has been facing for a long time, are exacerbated by the increasing number of social emergencies. In the face of these difficulties, the arts can be a tool for expressing and communicating individual feelings and social problems, for promoting empowerment, dialogue and inclusion.
