It was formed in Belgrade in 2014 as part of the work of GRUBB (Gypsy Roma Urban Balkan Beats), a non-governmental educational centre primarily dedicated to the education of Roma youth through art and music. It was in this context that the girls met, and through the work of the centre they received a basic musical education, and on this basis formed a group that intertwines elements of traditional Roma music, hip hop, dance music and literary performances. The group is characterised by a highly committed approach. They start from the position of women in a very patriarchal Roma society, which imposes traditional gender roles on girls and also practices that are problematic from the point of view of the law (bride selling, early marriage, etc.). Through their lyrics, in Serbian, Romani and English, they talk about the challenges that Roma girls face, break stereotypes and set a positive example for the Roma community in Maribor, which is facing the same problems.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The activity will take place from 17.30 to 18.30.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participation is free of charge.
