We will present the programme from a general point of view, discussing the rights and obligations of the individual involved and the specific benefits that Roma people have within the programme. At the same time, we will also present the specificities of the public work carried out by the Epeka Association, which includes assistance in education and learning, in the organisation and implementation of leisure activities in the settlements, in the elimination of language barriers, in the establishment of dialogue, in the inclusion of young people and adults in educational programmes, in the integration with the environment, in the management of housing and infrastructure conditions in the settlements, in the monitoring of (access to) official institutions, in the integration into the local environment, in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, etc.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the second part of the training, two members of the Roma community, who are currently involved in the public works programme in Epeka, will present their personal experiences. Those included in the training will have the opportunity to be employed through the public works programme of the Epeka Association in November.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to the measures to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections, the activity is organised in 2 iterations, which will limit the number of participants per session. Please contact us before your participation to let us know whether you will participate in the first or the second iteration.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first session will take place from 14.00 to 15.30 and the second session from 16.00 to 17.30. Participation is free of charge.
