{"id":27686,"date":"2023-04-26T11:04:15","date_gmt":"2023-04-26T11:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/?p=27686"},"modified":"2024-12-09T21:11:12","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T21:11:12","slug":"gender-equality-literacy-genequity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/gender-equality-literacy-genequity\/","title":{"rendered":"GENDER EQUALITY LITERACY (GENEQUITY)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">1 &#8211; 15 June 2023<br \/>\nNem\u010dija<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You are kindly invited to join us on a youth exchange in Germany! &#8211; GENDER EQUALITY LITERACY (GENEQUITY).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The insufficient exposure of youth to gender discussions warrants the formulation of this project <strong>GENDER EQUALITY LITERACY (GENEQUITY) <\/strong>to meet this identified and expressed need. We have, therefore, carefully selected professional partner organizations to design and prepare this project for effective outcomes. We collectively seek to advance youths&#8217; awareness of existing Gender inequalities and facilitate their analysis and discussion of gender roles and situations across their different European and migrant cultures. This project will thus allow young people to deliberate on gender equality and create awareness of the disadvantages faced by the female Gender globally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participating youth will therefore obtain information on gender issues in their culture to share the same with other youths from other countries. In addition to knowledge-sharing, they will discover new cultural perspectives and peculiarities from other climes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project is aimed at young people aged between 16 and 27. Participation is free of charge for EPEKA members, i.e. travel, accommodation and food costs are covered for the duration of the project. The activities will take place within the city of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Germany. Interested in more?
