EPEKA, Soc.Ent. organised a day-long event on Maribor Island to mark International Youth Day.<\/p>\n

Do you know what International Youth Day is?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1999, the United Nations designated 12 August as International Youth Day to celebrate and discuss various issues that concern and affect young people. This year’s priority theme for International Youth Day is transforming education.<\/p>\n

Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were various events throughout the day! Starting at 10 am with a round table, then until 6 pm there were various workshops, sports games, competitions, a music programme, getting to know the organisations that create programmes for young people in the Maribor area, information on non-formal education opportunities, volunteering, etc.<\/p>\n
