As part of the Roma Station project, we invite you to visit the exhibition Maribor Strikes Back at Ljubljana. Comics are also known as the ninth art; mainly because of the impact on the broad masses that this art form reaches.<\/p>\n

This is why we want to establish a link between members of the Roma community and this genre of art, because it is close to the masses, mainly because it combines drawing with a shorter text, which is much closer to the reader. Together with the curator, \u017diga Dobnikar, we will see the Maribor Ljubljana Strikes Back exhibition, where well-known Slovenian comic artists Miki Muster, Kostja Gatnik, Toma\u017e Lavri\u010d, Zoran Smiljani\u0107, Bernard Kolle, Du\u0161an Kastelic and Igor Ribi\u010d have exhibited their works. We will discuss what comics are, how they differ from other forms of art – visually and textually, and try to inspire participants to use comics for educational purposes.
