Representatives of the Association EPEKA,\u00a0 Soc. Ent., Matej Tisaj and Anja Cehnar, participated in the RISE (Resources for Improving Social inclusion and Equality, based on applied entrepreneurial competences) youth exchange.<\/p>\n

The international exchange took place online on 19-21 and 26-27 March 2021.<\/p>\n

The aim of this training project is to reduce racism and discrimination and promote social inclusion, taking into account the priorities and opportunities offered by Horizon 2020 in the field of social action and the Sustainable Development Goals. We will rely on the Entrecomp and Digcomp competences framework as a tool to create competences that make us think and act entrepreneurially.<\/p>\n

This project focused on training youth workers, using educational methods to inspire participants in future projects. We looked at how to take responsibility for your own learning process (self-directed learning). This project supported the future and present of youth workers in developing specific competences for entrepreneurship and employment.<\/p>\n

The objectives of the programme are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To provide practical tools to improve social employability and entrepreneurial skills in projects that support inclusion, diversity and equality.<\/li>\n
  2. To support the professional and personal development of youth workers and youth trainers.<\/li>\n
  3. Provide information and usability within the Entrecomp and Digcomp competences.<\/li>\n
  4. Promote the Horizon 2020 priorities, the Sustainable Development Goals and develop social inclusion initiatives in these areas.<\/li>\n
  5. To provide useful tools and methods for working with young people in the framework of ERASMUS+ and the European Solidarity Corps.<\/li>\n
  6. Research and develop new initiatives for social entrepreneurship and employability in youth work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
