The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent,. participates in the international Erasmus+ project EcoYouth.<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The theme of this youth exchange is the environment, in particular its protection through raising awareness among young people. The environmental issue has become very topical in recent years thanks to people like the Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and the Brazilian Catarina Lorenzo, who have played an important role in raising public awareness in this field. However, there is still much to be done to preserve the environment. First, we need to change ourselves: this is probably the biggest and most difficult challenge we face. We need to change our behaviour, our attitudes, our daily habits and even our economic system. It is a very difficult challenge, but not impossible: with the philosophy of “small steps” and thanks to the opportunities that the European Union is making available to the community, we have the opportunity to change ourselves first, especially the people involved in this project, trying to raise awareness and develop a more ecological and conscious attitude. The time we have is running out, the world situation is dramatic, and we need to act now, because tomorrow it will be too late.<\/p>\n
