{"id":61142,"date":"2024-08-09T20:10:49","date_gmt":"2024-08-09T20:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/?p=61142"},"modified":"2025-09-17T19:06:17","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T19:06:17","slug":"epeka-at-the-22nd-lupa-festival-of-ngos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/epeka-at-the-22nd-lupa-festival-of-ngos\/","title":{"rendered":"Epeka at the 22nd LUPA Festival of NGOs"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">12 September 2024, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.<br \/>\nPre\u0161ernov trg, Ljubljana, Slovenia<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">EPEKA, Soc.Ent. will present itself at the <strong>LUPA<\/strong> NGO Festival, which will take place this year at Pre\u0161eren Square in Ljubljana on 12 September 2024.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to EPEKA, more than 100 NGOs will participate in the festival<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NGOs are active in areas where the state fails or is unable to provide what we need for a safe and quality life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sports organisations make sure that we and our children stay fit; cultural organisations make sure that we are well informed and enrich our souls; social organisations make sure that there are as few hungry people among us as possible; firefighters make sure that our houses don&#8217;t burn down; and those who keep a watchful eye on the workings of the authorities make sure that the state doesn&#8217;t hijack our lives.
