A representative of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the Youth Sector Consultation. The event is aimed at young people, youth workers and leaders, representatives of youth and youth organisations and all others who in one way or another co-create and co-shape areas, policies and programmes for young people.<\/p>\n
This year’s Youth Sector Consultation will take place over two days and will be organised by three partners – the Slovenian Youth Office, the Slovenian Youth Council and the Municipality of Ljubljana.<\/p>\n
The first day of the consultation will be educational in content and purpose. After the opening speeches, in the morning session a selected top expert will open a debate on how to address young people today. The afternoon session will consist of four separate workshops, selected by you in the youth sector on the basis of a survey. The workshops will not be problem-based, but will follow the objective of sharing good (and bad) practices and ideas to strengthen both individual organisations and the youth sector as a whole.<\/p>\n
In the evening programme, the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre will host the award ceremony of the 2016 National Youth Sector Awards. The first day of the event will be closed with an informal gathering at a cultural event organised by the Municipality of Ljubljana.<\/p>\n
On the second day of the event, plenary discussions will focus on the development of youth work and youth policy at local level. We will also present an analysis of the state of the local youth sector, which was prepared on the sidelines of the regional “Growing Together” events, and discuss solutions for strengthening youth work and youth policy at local level, as well as good and bad practices in the youth sector in the framework of two round tables.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
