Ent., is a partner organisation in the European Voluntary Service (EVS) project to be held in Kumanovo, Macedonia.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project entitled &#8221;EVS &#8211; a pathway to youth inclusion&#8221; will run from 20 April 2015 to 5 May 2016 and can involve 12 volunteers who will be placed with a host organisation for 2 months in 6 intervals (2 volunteers per interval).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Terms:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>5 June &#8211; 4 August 2015<\/li>\n<li>5 August &#8211; 4 October 2015<\/li>\n<li>5 October &#8211; 4 December 2015<\/li>\n<li>5 December 2015 &#8211; 4 February 2016<\/li>\n<li>5 February &#8211; 4 April 2016<\/li>\n<li>5 April &#8211; 4 June 2016<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This project with a total of 12 EVS volunteers aims to strengthen the scope of the international work of the Kumanovo Youth Centre and to provide a complex and sustainable learning opportunity for young people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on European values, young people will be encouraged to confront prejudices through their active participation and a different approach. They will learn how to show young people that they are part of a European culture that has the potential to create a better society based on democracy and European citizenship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The idea of the project promotes, among other things, the realisation that involving European volunteers with local volunteers in working with socially stigmatised minorities offers a win-win situation with a great potential for learning. There will be a lot of dissemination of knowledge in the field of equality and cultural diversity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volunteers will get to know the host NGO, the team behind it and the local community of Kumanovo. They will promote volunteering, non-formal education among young people and of course spend a lot of time on activities in the youth centre. The range of activities is meant to cover culture, language learning, computer literacy, sports, theatre, media and self-initiative aspirations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn the Macedonian language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The costs of accommodation, health insurance and the language course are fully covered.
