Ent., will attend a training organised by the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training on Communicating Climate Change with Socially Excluded Adults will take place on Monday, 10 March and Monday, 24 March 2025, between 9.00 and 16.30 at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, Metelkova 2, 1000 Ljubljana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Theme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to engage socially excluded adults in the climate change debate? How to encourage them to recognise their power and possibilities for action? How to listen to their perspectives, experiences and understanding of climate change?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Communicating about climate change is often challenging and complex. Discussions with socially excluded adults are particularly challenging, as they are rarely seen as active interlocutors on the topic and often do not see themselves in this role. The training will link theoretical insights with practical approaches and participants will test concrete tools to improve communication on climate change with selected target groups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The topics of climate change and social inclusion will be presented:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Lu\u010dka Kajfe\u017e Bogataj, climatologist<\/li>\n<li>Zarja Mur\u0161i\u010d, Science Communicator<\/li>\n<li>Sandi Horvat, journalist, writer and Roma activist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training will be led by Katarina Nahtigal and Tina Palai\u0107, museum educators and curators at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The EPEKA programme is co-financed by the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, the Municipality of Maribor and Erasmus+.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 10 and 24, 2025 Ljubljana, Slovenia <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc.
