The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the mobility project for youth workers in Turkey: “Fighting Climate Change”.
\n<\/p>\n

There will be 24 participants from Turkey, Portugal, Lithuania, Austria, Romania and Slovenia. The project is aimed at NGOs working with young volunteers to respond to natural disasters caused by climate change. The project will increase management skills in times of crisis.<\/p>\n

Project objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To raise awareness among youth workers about the impact of climate change on disadvantaged individuals.<\/li>\n
  2. Developing ideas on how to involve young volunteers in coping with the effects of climate change.<\/li>\n
  3. Preparing young volunteers and youth workers for disasters and risky situations.<\/li>\n
  4. Strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations to combat the impacts<\/li>\n
  5. Strengthening CSOs’ capacity to tackle climate change.<\/li>\n
  6. Equip young volunteers and youth workers with humanitarian and organisational skills in disaster response.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
