Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the webinar NEB: Crafting Social – How creativity and entrepreneurship can promote social inclusion.

In this seminar we will learn how craft can help communities to connect and create opportunities for those who are often left behind, and whether creativity can enable people to develop new skills and improve their lives.<\/p>\n

STITCH_YOUR_BRAIN<\/a> is an empirical study by Monika Auch, visual artist and medical doctor (n.p.), on the intelligence of our hands and the impact of creativity on health and well-being.<\/p>\n

Pomelaj <\/strong><\/b><\/a>(Slovenia)<\/p>\n

Pomelaj is a cooperative offering employment to people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in Prekmurje. By respecting local traditions and skills, they aim to create new opportunities for employment and development in rural areas.<\/p>\n

The Exchange<\/strong><\/b><\/a> (United Kingdom)<\/p>\n

The Exchange is an initiative that combines the three pillars of ’empowerment’, ‘craft’ and ‘community’ and aims to enable high quality local arts + craft production, support strong + diverse ‘creative communities’ and host and facilitate wider civic and community programmes.<\/p>\n

Shelanu<\/strong><\/a> (UK)<\/p>\n

Shelanu is a collective of refugee and migrant women working with Craftspace to develop craft skills, self-reliance and economic independence.
