{"id":95335,"date":"2026-01-07T09:50:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T09:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/?p=95335"},"modified":"2026-01-08T12:56:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T12:56:06","slug":"life-workshop-on-writing-project-applications-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/life-workshop-on-writing-project-applications-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"LIFE Workshop on Writing Project Applications 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">27 and 28 January 2026<br \/>\nCenter Rog, Ljubljana<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Members of the EPEKA Association will take part in the first LIFE project application writing workshop series of this year, which will take place on 27 and 28 January 2026 at Center Rog in Ljubljana.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In both sessions, participants will begin by familiarising themselves with the <strong>procedures for preparing a project application<\/strong> for the <a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lifeslovenija.si\/osnovne-informacije\/\">LIFE programme<\/a>. They will gain an in-depth understanding of the key steps required to develop a high-quality project application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Special emphasis will be placed on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the priority themes of the LIFE programme,<\/li>\n<li>problem definition and its justification,<\/li>\n<li>the formulation of clear objectives and expected results, and<\/li>\n<li>the identification of appropriate indicators for monitoring progress and measuring achievements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each workshop session will be divided into three parts: a theoretical component, completion of an application form based on a practical example, and hands-on exercises. The latter two parts will be adapted according to the specific session.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dates and thematic focus<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The theoretical part of each session will be the same on both dates and will cover general content relevant to the entire LIFE programme. The difference between the two sessions will lie in the practical component \u2013 case studies and exercises tailored to individual sub-programmes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Tuesday, <strong>27 January 2026<\/strong>, case studies and exercises will be adapted to the LIFE sub-programme <a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lifeslovenija.si\/podprogrami-life-in-tipi-projektov\/narava-in-biotska-raznovrstnost\/\">Nature and Biodiversity<\/a>. Problem definition, objectives and expected results, as well as indicators, will be presented using the project <strong><a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lifeforlifelines.ptice.si\/\">LIFE for LIFELINES<\/a><\/strong> as an example.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Wednesday, <strong>28 January 2026<\/strong>, the practical content and exercises will focus on the LIFE sub-programmes <a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lifeslovenija.si\/podprogrami-life-in-tipi-projektov\/krozno-gospodarstvo-in-kakovost-zivljenja\/\">Circular Economy and Quality of Life<\/a> and <a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lifeslovenija.si\/podprogrami-life-in-tipi-projektov\/blazitev-podnebnih-sprememb-in-prilagajanje-nanje\/\">Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation<\/a>.
