Join us for the\u00a0 workshop of the <strong>project &#8220;From experience to support&#8221;<\/strong>, where we will explore the world of volunteering.<\/p>\n<p>Operation <em>From Experience to Support<\/em> is being carried out within the framework of the 2025 call for proposals for the Development and Professionalisation of NGOs and Volunteering. The operation will last 27 months and is aimed at strengthening quality, organised and sustainable volunteering and providing better, integrated support to volunteers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is volunteering?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Volunteering is not just work without pay. It is an expression of free will, solidarity and empathy. It is that moment when you decide to dedicate your time to the good of others or the wider community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why become a volunteer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Volunteering is one of the best things you can do <strong>for yourself<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New acquaintances:<\/strong> Connect with people who share your values.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More confidence:<\/strong> Overcome challenges and grow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concrete impact:<\/strong> You\u00a0 will make the world around you warmer and safer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A sense of purpose:<\/strong> Find your mission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What will we learn at the workshop?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Basics of volunteering:<\/strong> How to get started and where to get involved?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legislation and Rights:<\/strong> We will learn <em>\u00a0about the Volunteering Act<\/em> \u2013 your rights, protection from exploitation, and state incentives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Youth in Action:<\/strong> How Primary and Secondary School Students and Students Can Get Involved.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slovenian pulse:<\/strong> Who are the largest organizations in Slovenia (Red Cross, Caritas, Firefighters, Philanthropy&#8230;) and how does the volunteer network work?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Opportunities at EPEKA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of <strong>the project &#8220;From experience to support&#8221;<\/strong> , we invite you to join us in concrete activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\udcda Providing educational assistance to Roma children and children from socially disadvantaged families.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udfa8 Organization of art, sports and digital workshops.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udf0d Erasmus+<strong> environmental events and youth exchanges<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participation is free, the number of places is limited \u2013 register as soon as possible!<\/p>\n<p>Registration and information: <a href=\"mailto:epeka@epeka.si\">epeka@epeka.si<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Where?
