Members of the Epeka Association, they are. p. we attended the Job and Career Opportunities Fair in Ljubljana. The fair, organised by the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia (ZRSZ), is the central national event aimed at actively linking supply and demand in the labour market. Its primary objective goes beyond mere job vacancies; The event is designed as a strategic platform for dialogue between employers, jobseekers, educational institutions and policy makers. At a time of rapid technological and structural changes in the labour market, the fair is a key mechanism for increasing labour mobility and improving the career literacy of the population.<\/p>\n
This year’s edition of the fair recorded a high level of diversity among exhibitors. More than 130 participating organizations reflected the current economic climate in Slovenia.<\/p>\n
The event was designed inclusively, addressing different groups: from young people just entering the labour market, to experienced professionals who want to make a career change, and vulnerable groups who need additional support in integrating into the work environment.<\/p>\n
The organizers paid great attention to the quality of interaction. In addition to the traditional fair concept (presentation of companies at stands), the following activities were in the foreground:<\/p>\n
ZRSZ experts provided individual counseling, preparation for job interviews and competency analysis, which provides participants with a better insight into their own career prospects.<\/p>\n
The implementation of the online module was a key innovation, as it enabled the connection of Slovenian searchers with European employers. This has transformed the fair from a local event into a wider European career space, which is invaluable for finding opportunities within the European EURES network.<\/p>\n
The fair plays an important role in reducing the mismatch between the skills of seekers and the needs of employers. With its open nature \u2013 free entry and access to information \u2013 the Institute reduces information asymmetry in the labour market. It allows participants to get an overview of hundreds of job vacancies in a single day, which significantly reduces the time of job search.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
