The European Commission invited creators, designers, researchers, municipalities, organisations and other stakeholders to participate in <strong>\u00a0the New European Bauhaus (NEB) 2026 Festival<\/strong>, which was accompanied by satellite events across Europe. This year, the festival has\u00a0 brought to the forefront the <strong>democratic involvement of residents in the creation of more sustainable, accessible and inclusive communities,<\/strong> as well as the issue of affordable housing.<\/p>\n<p>The festival combines four key pillars:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Forum<\/strong> \u2013 discussions, lectures and exchange of ideas on the future of the European area;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fair \u2013<\/strong> presentation of innovative projects, solutions and prototypes that implement the values of NEB;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fest<\/strong> \u2013 a cultural and artistic programme with performances, workshops and creative content;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Satellite events<\/strong> \u2013 events organised across Europe and beyond that promote the values of the New European Bauhaus initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The festival is an excellent opportunity to present innovative practices, network with European partners and co-create solutions for a better quality living environment.
