On 20 July 2026 in Ljubljana, we presented our Y-ACT<\/a> (Youth Against Corruption: Tools for Transparency)<\/strong> project to the participants of the Social Activation programme at Center Rog. The event was an excellent opportunity to bring the project closer to new target groups and to talk about the importance of transparency and accountable governance.
\nThe presentation was attended by participants of the Social Activation programme, for whom the event provided a direct insight into topics in the field of transparency and corruption prevention. The Social Activation programme is designed to strengthen the social and work-related competences of people who face multiple barriers to integration into society and the labour market, which made the connection with the content of the Y-ACT project \u2014 which empowers individuals with practical knowledge about transparency \u2014 all the more meaningful.
\nWe presented the main purpose of the project \u2014 empowering young people and youth workers with practical knowledge about transparency \u2014 as well as the educational toolkit developed within the project, which helps young people and youth workers recognise and address corrupt practices in their local environment.
\nIn a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, we spoke with the participants about how corruption affects the community and how individuals themselves can contribute to greater transparency and accountability. Meetings of this kind confirm that the content of the Y-ACT project is relevant to a wide range of people and that the topic of transparency connects different communities and environments.<\/p>\n

Y-ACT is funded by the PROTEUS<\/a> project. As a project of the CERV programme, PROTEUS is co-funded by the European Commission and runs from January 2023 to September 2026.<\/p>\n

The project’s main funders are the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.<\/p>\n
