{"id":97353,"date":"2026-09-04T14:46:48","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T13:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/17th-european-citizens-energy-forum\/"},"modified":"2026-09-04T14:48:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T13:48:12","slug":"17th-european-citizens-energy-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/17th-european-citizens-energy-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"17th European Citizens&#8217; Energy Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the Epeka Association will participate <strong>\u00a0in the 17th Citizens&#8217; Energy Forum. <\/strong>The event, organised by the European Commission, provides a central platform for discussions on the role of consumers and citizens in the energy transition era and the future of the European energy market.<\/p>\n<p>The main highlights of this year&#8217;s meeting will be devoted to current challenges in the field of energy supply, affordability and strengthening the role of households and local communities in a sustainable energy system.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Moving from words to deeds:<\/strong> This year&#8217;s forum focuses on how to translate the ambitious goals and policies of the so-called\u00a0 Citizens Energy Package into everyday practice at the local level \u2013 in cities, villages and local energy communities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The role of consumers:<\/strong> Traditionally, the Forum has focused on the perspective of consumers and citizens in a fair, competitive and energy-efficient retail market.
