{"id":97489,"date":"2026-09-16T09:56:39","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:56:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/from-climate-anxiety-to-green-activism-how-do-young-people-co-create-sustainable-policies\/"},"modified":"2026-09-16T09:57:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:57:26","slug":"from-climate-anxiety-to-green-activism-how-do-young-people-co-create-sustainable-policies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epeka.si\/en\/from-climate-anxiety-to-green-activism-how-do-young-people-co-create-sustainable-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"From climate anxiety to green activism: How do young people co-create sustainable policies?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <strong>Youth4GreenPolicy project <\/strong>\u00a0, we successfully conducted a workshop aimed at empowering young people and strengthening their inclusion in European sustainable policies.<\/p>\n<p>Although the level of awareness among young people is extremely high \u2013 as many as <strong>91% of young people are concerned about the climate<\/strong> \u2013 at the same time, <strong>63% still feel excluded<\/strong> from political decision-making processes. With the event, we wanted to bridge this gap and counter barriers such as <em>greenwashing<\/em>, climate disinformation and ecological populism. The aim of the workshop was to turn climate anxiety into constructive social activism!<\/p>\n<p>Through innovative <strong>methods with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) cards,<\/strong> the participants\u00a0 embarked on a practical simulation game.
