You are invited to the workshop “Opportunities of Roma Cultural Heritage in Slovenia”, organised in the framework of the international project Romheritage, which aims to preserve, explore and present the rich Roma cultural heritage across Europe.
The workshop will present the interactive itineraries developed within the project, which offer insights into different aspects of Roma culture, language, history and identity in Slovenia. Participants will have the opportunity to actively participate, learn about lesser-known but important elements of Roma cultural heritage and reflect on ways to raise its profile and integrate it into educational, tourism and cultural programmes.
The workshop will be based on interactive and pedagogical approaches, and will include a short lecture, a presentation of the content and an open discussion, where there will be space for exchanging opinions, questions and new ideas.
All those interested in Roma culture and the integration of cultural heritage in contemporary contexts – both professionals and the general public – are welcome to attend.
