The Tacet Ensemble wants to present the richness of early music to the Slovenian audience, especially the younger generation. With their knowledge of historical performance practice, they explore sound, different instrumentation and create arrangements for different ensembles. The band has been operating in Slovenia since 2021. So far, she has performed at the Tartini Festival in Ljubljana (2025), the Seviqc Festival (2023, 2025), the Baroque Rendezvous Concert Cycle (2023), the Cantabile Festival (2023), the Echo of Summer Cycle (2022) and the Rače Castle (2021). In May 2025, they also performed at the H. I. F. Biber International Competition in Austria. Flavtist Katarina Nagode encountered early music while studying modern flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. After completing her studies in Graz, she devoted herself to studying early music at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She completed both studies with honors. She was educated in master classes with Barthold Kuijken, Kate Clark and Marc Hantaï. She has performed with the Hofkapelle Stuttgart, the JSB Ensemble (Bachakademie Stuttgart), the Ensemble Cordia, the Vocal Ensemble Rastatt & Les Favorites, the Slovenian Baroque Orchestra, the Music Matrix and others. She has collaborated with internationally renowned conductors such as Hans-Christoph Rademann, Frieder Bernius, Jos van Veldhoven, Gary Graden, Sebastijan Vrhovnik and others. Martina Okoli graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the following departments: music pedagogy, instruments with keys (concert course: organ) and finally completed her master’s degree in harpsichord. As a harpsichordist, she has participated in numerous projects of the Baroque Orchestra of the Academy of Music, at the Musica Locopolitana festival of historical music and dance, and has performed with the Chamber String Orchestra and the Accordion Orchestra of the Academy of Music. With the Baroque quartet Hymnia, she has performed numerous concerts as part of concert cycles: Youth to Youth, Autumn Serenades, Tartini Festival, European Capital of Culture and others. She performed a solo concert at the International Harpsichord Festival in Belgrade. She also performs in a harpsichord duo with Egon Mihajlović. At the Academy of Music, she is an assistant for harpsichord. Soprano Christina Thaler graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and studied at the postgraduate program “Barock Vocal Academy” at the Hochschule für Musik of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Meinz. He mainly recreates the music of the Baroque. She performed the role of an angel in Handel’s oratorio Jephta (Frankfurt, Kaisersaal), and as a member of the madrigal group Onde sonore she performed at the Brighton Early Music Festival under the baton of Deborah Roberts.
