Representatives of the Epeka Association, so. p.  will attend a consultation organised by SPIRIT Slovenia – Switch 2.0, which will be aimed at discussing Slovenia’s energy sovereignty and the development of Maribor as an important logistics and investment hub. The event is organized in cooperation with the Institute for Strategic Solutions, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Sports and in cooperation with the Municipality of Maribor.

The consultation is designed as a platform to discuss strategic shifts that are necessary for economic development:

  • Energy sovereignty: A discussion on Slovenia’s energy future, challenges in decarbonization, the necessity of upgrading network capacities and the importance of domestic energy production and storage.
  • Maribor as a logistics hub: Development of the city’s potentials as a multimodal logistics center connecting air, road and rail transport. The focus will be on how to make optimal use of the existing infrastructure to attract investments and create new jobs and higher added value.

The consultation is intended for businessmen, investors, experts in the fields of energy, infrastructure and logistics, as well as representatives of state institutions and local communities who want to actively participate in the design of concrete development solutions.
