The members of the Epeka Association will take  part in the 17th Citizens’ Energy Forum, which will put the implementation of the recently adopted Citizens’ Energy Package at the forefront. The main objective of the meeting is clear: to ensure that all Europeans have access to affordable and clean energy in safe and secure homes.

The programme will feature dynamic plenary sessions and four parallel workshops, where you can engage in discussions on:

  • Energy communities: How to plan for a local transition to renewables and encourage energy sharing in times of grid congestion.
  • Protecting vulnerable customers: How to effectively prevent energy poverty and shutdowns and identify households in need in a timely manner.
  • Market transparency: How to make it easier for consumers to choose between complex offers and dynamic contracts.
  • Demand flexibility: How to ensure fair remuneration and easy engagement of active customers.

The event will be concluded by the European Commissioner for Energy and Housing, Dan Jørgensen, and MEPs, who will listen to suggestions from younger generations and experts on the ground.
