Members of the Epeka Association, so. p. will attend the event Building policies for sustainable, affordable and inclusive housing – Insights from the HouseInc project. Europe is facing a serious housing crisis, where there is a shortage of affordable, energy-efficient and socially inclusive housing. More and more households are facing high housing costs, energy poverty and inadequate living conditions.
What will be discussed at the seminar?
Dogedek is organised by IEECP as part of the HouseInc project (funded by Horizon Europe), which explores the complex causes of housing inequality and examines the intertwining between housing conditions, energy and mobility poverty, digitalisation and the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
In the webinar, experts and researchers will present key findings and practical solutions for the design of more effective housing policies:
- Household accessibility and protection: How to design policy measures and mechanisms that improve the quality and affordability of housing, while protecting vulnerable households from the rising cost of living and the risk of eviction or settlement.
- Sustainability and green transition: Integrating energy and social policies and promoting sustainable building renovation.
- Practical tools and recommendations: Presentation of concrete solutions, examples of good practices and recommendations for decision-makers at local, national and European level.
