Zelena direktiva, Institute for the Development of Biodiversity and Ecological Culture, Maribor, social enterprise.

The Zelena direktiva Institute (legal form private institution / social enterprise) was founded in 2010 in Maribor, Slovenia, with the main aim of establishing a platform that would be a generator of the re-primary production of hemp in Slovenia, as well as the development of natural solutions and products in the field of biotechnology for the needs of agriculture, industry and medicine. For the production of hemp (products and research), 19,000m2 of agricultural land is cultivated, the entire production process is carried out according to ecological standards and is supervised by the competent authorities. Processing is carried out in their processing and laboratory facilities in Maribor, and the processing is also certified organic. Most of the funding for their research work comes from their own production and processing of organic food and food supplements.
