The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., invites you to a unique workshop that reveals the hidden charms of the night forest – a night mushroom hike with UV lamps.

The event will take place at Mariborsko Pohorje (Areh), where we will gather at 20:00. The workshop will start with a short lecture on the safe use of UV lamps by Katarina Grabnar Apostolides, fungus expert.

This will be followed by a night hike in the forest, where we will use UV lamps to explore the mysterious side of nature. We will admire biofluorescent and biophosphorescent fungi, mosses, plants and other forest organisms that shine in vibrant colours at night.

UV lamps and goggles will be provided for all participants. The use of white flashlights is not allowed. However, if you have a red, green or black torch at home, you are welcome to bring it with you.

The event is free and suitable for all ages – especially curious nature, science and mystery lovers.
