Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the DD-Decent Work project consultation. This will give us the opportunity to find out what the challenges of employment and the labour market will be in the future. Where is youth work in all this? What has already been done? And – how can we work together to build a future where decent work is not just an empty phrase?

At the DD – Decent Work Consultation, we will join youth workers, project leaders, decision-makers and youth representatives to open a conversation on the precarious forms of work that increasingly shape young people’s realities – and to look for ways in which youth work can actively contribute to their empowerment.

5 reasons why it’s a good idea to attend the Rights are not fairy tales:

  • We will learn about concrete examples and good practices of how youth work addresses precarity.
  • We will get new insights and tools on how to work with young people on the future of work shaped by platforms, AI and new forms of employment.
  • We will participate in co-designing the future of youth work in the context of a rapidly changing labour market.
  • We will network with the people who are changing the labour market – from the ground to the decision-makers.
