A member of the Association EPEKA, so. p., prepared an exceptional exhibition as part of the 51st International Days of Minerals, Fossils, and the Environment – MINFOS 2025, presenting 145 species of fungi and fluorescent fungi collected in the vicinity of Ljubljana and in the Gorenjska region.

Despite unfavorable weather conditions prior to the event, which made it difficult to collect specimens, with a great deal of perseverance and the help of partner associations and mycologists, an attractive and educational exhibition was successfully put together. Visitors were surprised by the diversity of fungi that can be found in our nature. Fluorescent fungi, which were placed in a themed display case with UV lighting, attracted particular attention, providing a unique experience for all generations.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Slovenian Mycological Museum – Natura Slovenika Institute, the Gorje Mushroom Society, the Kranj Mushroom Society, the Ljubljana Mushroom and Mycological Society, and the Ig Mushroom Society.
