NK Maribor Tabor Football Pitch
On Saturday, November 16, we invite you to a special event where we will combine sporting spirit with social responsibility. Within the framework of the Y-ACT (Youth Against Corruption – Tools for Transparency) project, we are organizing a presentation event that will take place following the conclusion of the Roma Women’s Football Tournament. We believe that transparency and the fight against corruption are the foundations of a fair society, starting with the active inclusion of all social groups. The main objective of the Y-ACT project is to empower young people with tools that enable greater transparency and oversight of public processes. As corruption often most severely impacts the most vulnerable, the connection with the “Kicking Prejudices – Literally” football tournament is more than symbolic. While the participants fight stereotypes on the pitch, we will present ways for visitors and young people to become guardians of integrity in their own environments.
At the event, you will be able to learn more about:
- the goals and future activities of the Y-ACT project,
- digital transparency tools being developed for youth,
- opportunities to join international networks for fighting corruption.
The event is open to the general public, and we especially invite young people who wish to co-create a fairer future. More information about the football tournament can be found at this link, while details about the Y-ACT project are available on the official project website.
The Y-ACT project emphasizes that transparency is a match we can only win as a team. Join us!
