At the initiative of the Office of Communication, the Office of Youth has launched an awareness campaign in support of government action during the coronavirus epidemic. The campaign directly addresses young people, but is intended for all residents of the Republic of Slovenia.
Together with the Maribor architect and artist Luka Murovec, we are preparing the exhibition “Pohorje Pearls”. The exhibition, a spatial installation, will explore the relationship between Maribor and Pohorje, which so strongly marks it. The exhibition will be on view in December, with the opening date depending on the epidemiological picture.
EPEKA representatives will attend the online Q & A session about the youth participation. The session is aimed to get an understanding of some of the basic concepts and to improve participatory practices.
In the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., one of the ways we support members of Roma community is also by providing techincal support, which is a key factor in development of their ICT competences; this can very much be seen in the current circumstances, when the majority of people is isolated and have limited social contacts as well as limited access to information. Currently, the computer of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is being usewd by Zenel Bejta.
The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will take part in the Fighting Corruption – Expanding the Union project. It is a two-year-long programme, taking place between 1st December 2018 and 1st December 2020.
