You are cordially invited to the final event of the Art 4 Inclusion project, which will take place on the premises of the Maribor Synagogue.
The event aims to present the developed learning tools and the online educational platform, which is designed for youth workers to use the arts to promote the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, especially migrants and members of ethnic minorities.
The ART 4 INCLUSION (A4I) project was conceived in a challenging situation for the European Union: the pandemic caused by COVID-19. All sectors are affected and the pandemic is having a major impact on social activities in general and on artistic and cultural activities in particular. In addition, the challenges of integration and employability of young migrants and minorities, which the EU has been facing for a long time, are exacerbated by the increasing number of social emergencies. In the face of these difficulties, the arts can be a tool for expressing and communicating individual feelings and social problems, for promoting empowerment, dialogue and inclusion. The richness of artistic disciplines must also be harnessed more than ever, and the public and institutions made aware of their importance in social life.
