Members of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., participated in the CyberZone youth exchange as part of the “Digit All in Action” project.

The Council of the European Union on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning has established a framework of eight key competences that should be developed in all EU citizens. One of them are digital skills, which “involves the confident, critical and responsible use of, and engagement with, digital technologies for learning, at work, and for participation in society. he constant development of technology and the digitization of life are also associated with many threats that young people are not aware of. The project addresses current cybersecurity concerns and aims to raise awareness of issues that include cyberbullying, cybergrooming, and cyberattacks. We also want to emphasize the role of fake news, at the same time bringing our participants closer to their harmful influence on our society and on the European system of values based on tolerance.

Main project’s objectives:

  • To improve digital literacy and critical thinking skills
  • To develop the creativity and the digital skills of the participants
  • To raise awareness of the importance of safe behavior in the network
  • To create new non-formal learning methods
