4 – 10 May 2025
Vilnius, Lithuania
The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is participating in the international project Emerging Advanced Skills Youth. This time the topic will be Joint stuff training.
The EU is facing a major mismatch between supply and demand for skills, exacerbated by digital transformation, economic inflation and the pandemic, which is making it difficult for many young people to find suitable employment. In response, EASY aims to equip thousands of young individuals with the necessary skills, in particular digital competences, to increase employability and bridge the skills gap. Special attention is paid to disadvantaged communities, including those in rural areas, migrants, refugees and NEETs, ensuring inclusion and equal opportunities. Through an integrated training programme combining digital, analytical and interpersonal skills, EASY provides online and face-to-face learning opportunities to prepare young people for a rapidly evolving labour market.
About the training
Training youth workers to use EASY tools and resources to better support young people in their employability by developing their skills and preparing them for the demands of the labour market.
Methods used in the training: group discussions, self-reflection, expert lectures, role-play scenarios, simulations, case studies, mentoring, community building activities.
Aim of the training
To enable youth workers to use the toolbox and training library so that they can understand, share and use them.
Expected audience
The expected audience is 12 people (2 people from each partner) involved in youth work – youth workers, trainers, professionals or teachers who want to learn more together about youth employment. Youth workers must be over 18 years of age.
