As part of a special mushroom picking event, we explored the Pohorje forests around Areh. At the end, we organized an exhibition of interesting finds.

Although low temperatures in early April meant less diversity of fungi, the event was full of excitement and learning. Many children participated, joining in both the daytime and nighttime mushroom hunt. After sunset, we went into the forest with UV flashlights to discover mysterious fungi that glow in the dark—a truly magical experience for all participants. The exhibition presented our findings and celebrated wonder at nature, curiosity, and intergenerational learning.
