»Volunteers work for free because they don’t have other jobs.” Really? At this interactive event, we debunked the most common myths about volunteering.

With the help of a quiz, real-life stories, and informal conversation, we created a more realistic, human, and inspiring image of volunteer work. Participants formed their own ideas about what volunteering is—and why it is much more than just helping others.

The activity was part of the project Strengthening vulnerable social groups with the support of volunteering.

The event was open to the public and aimed at promoting volunteering.
