No gatherings of more than six people and restrictions on movement between 9pm and 6am.
The Government issues a Decree on temporary partial restriction of movement of people and restriction or prohibition of assembly of people to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infections and publishes it in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Decree does not apply to activities carried out to ensure the performance of the tasks of the State, self-governing local authorities and public services.
In order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19, the Decree
- temporarily restricts or prohibits the assembly of more than six people in the Republic of Slovenia,
- temporarily restrict movement between statistical regions,
- restrict the movement of people between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Prohibited gathering of more than six people
The Decree temporarily restricts or prohibits the assembly of people in the Republic of Slovenia in order to prevent the spread of the communicable disease COVID-19.
The gathering of more than six people is temporarily prohibited.
Gatherings of up to six people are allowed only if a minimum safety distance between people can be ensured in accordance with the accepted guidelines or recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).
All events, meetings, weddings and religious ceremonies are temporarily prohibited.
Gatherings of people are allowed for groups of persons, provided that they are members of the immediate family or members of a common household.
Restriction of movement
In order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19, the Decree restricts the movement of people between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., except in the following cases:
- eliminating an imminent danger to health, life and property,
- arriving at and leaving for work and carrying out urgent work tasks,
- access to and provision of emergency services.
Movement between statistical regions
The Decree temporarily restricts movement between statistical regions in order to prevent the spread of the communicable disease COVID-19. Exceptionally, taking into account the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJH), individuals may be allowed to cross for:
- coming and going to work and carrying out work tasks,
- carrying out economic, agricultural and forestry activities,
- to eliminate imminent danger to health, life and property,
- care and assistance to persons in need of support or for the care or care of family members,
- access to pharmacies, health and sanitation services and spa treatment,
- access to foreign diplomatic and consular missions,
- access to emergency services,
- access to the performance of tasks related to the functioning of judicial, administrative and law enforcement authorities,
- access to services for persons with disabilities,
- carrying out maintenance work or seasonal tasks on private property or land for members of the same household.
Residence
An individual is considered to be resident in a statistical region if he/she has a permanent or temporary residence in a municipality of that region. An individual may be accommodated at only one residence address (permanent or temporary) and may not move between the two residences. The individual or persons from a common household may, taking into account the recommendations of the NIJH, engage in outdoor or open public places in the statistical region of residence in a sport and recreational activity that maintains a safe distance from other individuals.
Control
Fines for infringements of this Decree shall be imposed in accordance with the law governing infectious diseases. In addition to the competent inspection services, the police shall monitor the implementation of this Decree within the limits of their powers. If, in the performance of his duties, a member of the called-up civil protection force encounters infringements of this Decree which he cannot prevent or terminate by means of a warning, he shall immediately inform the nearest police station of the infringement.:
