November 21, 2025
Tyrševa 15, Maribor

We invite you to the introductory event of the Y-ACT (Youth Against Corruption: Tools for Transparency) project, dedicated to the development of an innovative educational toolkit for corruption prevention. The meeting will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Tyrševa ulica 15 in Maribor. Together, we will lay the foundations for a tool that will help young people and youth workers identify and address corrupt practices in their local environments.

The main goal of the Y-ACT project is to empower youth with practical knowledge about transparency. At the first in a series of events, we will focus on designing the content of the toolkit, which will include:

  • Simplified definitions of corruption and Slovenian real-life examples.
  • Guidance on reporting mechanisms for irregularities.
  • Ideas for low-threshold advocacy actions that youth can implement themselves.
  • Visual materials, such as infographics and prompts for peer-to-peer education.

Who are we inviting? The meeting is intended for youth workers, educators, representatives of non-governmental organizations, alumni of past workshops, and active youth, especially those coming from rural areas. Your experiences and feedback will be crucial in preparing content that will later be available in both print and online formats for educational reuse.

Join us in co-creating a safer and more transparent future. As the project involves external funding, we inform you that the event will be held in accordance with the visibility rules of the funders, and logos will be present on all official materials.

Y-ACT is funded by the PROTEUS project. As a CERV program project, PROTEUS is co-funded by the European Commission and runs from January 2023 to September 2026.
